Discovering the Purpose of Life: A Journey from Death to Eternity!

A Deep Conversation About Life and Death

So, a couple of days ago, Chelsea and I had this DEEP conversation about life and death. We talked about how short life is and how we have two different paths we can take. One path is "Worldly/Fleshly," filled with distractions and desires that ultimately end in death. The other path is "Spiritual," free from distractions and fleshly desires, leading us to eternity!

Then the big question came up: What is the purpose of this life here on Earth?!

The Need to Share Our Message

The next day, we realized we should have made a video to share our message! The world NEEDS to hear what we discussed. Later that night, we tried to record a video, but the words just didn’t flow. The message was all over the place!

I told Chelsea, "I don’t think we’re meant to make a video right now." Instead, we should take some notes and create a PowerPoint. That way, we wouldn’t lose our audience with a jumbled message.

As we began making notes, Tyler called and needed a ride home from work. Chelsea went to pick him up while I stayed home to finish our notes. I suddenly felt the urge to grab my Bible and read where I left off in my "Dig Deeper" section.

A Surprising Revelation

I went to see where "Dig Deeper" sent me, and it was Galatians 3. I opened it up, but nothing really stood out. When Chelsea returned, she asked, "Are you ready?!" I replied, "No!" because I was still reading. I was on a part titled "Prayer for Spiritual Power." I thought it might be what I needed, but nope! I read it twice and still felt nothing.

At that point, I told Chelsea, "I don’t know. I don’t think we’re supposed to speak on this right now." She suggested, "Maybe we should just share our testimonies?!" I agreed, and that’s what we ended up doing.

The next day, I picked up my Bible again, still open to where I had left it. I started reading chapter 3 again because I needed to grasp something from it. I got to the third verse, which was the ONLY thing I had highlighted: "The mystery was made known to me by revelation, as I have briefly written above."

So, I checked what was written above and looked at the chapter before. It was literally titled "FROM DEATH TO LIFE"!!!

THEN I realized....I'M NOT in Galatians.....I'M IN Ephesians!!!

My Dig Deeper sent me to Galatians, BUT GOD and my hands sent me to Ephesians instead!!!

The Power of Ephesians

Verses 1-2 in Ephesians 2 state, "And you were dead in your trespasses and sins in which you previously WALKED according to the WAYS OF THIS WORLD, according to the ruler of the power of the air (the enemy), the spirit now working in the disobedient." This basically proves that our "Worldly" path logic is legit!

As I continued reading, I reached the end of the chapter. Verses 17-22 literally ANSWERED THE QUESTION we had been pondering!

We are being built together as a holy dwelling place for God!! (FOR ETERNITY....the 2nd Path)

CAN'T NOBODY tell me God isn't real!!!

Y'ALL...literally EVERY.SINGLE.THING we talked about was ALL in Ephesians 2!!!

The message Chelsea and I wanted to get out there is: "Life is short, and there **IS** a **PURPOSE** for this life other than fulfilling your fleshly desires! Seek Jesus and allow Him to remove that worldly blindfold off you so you can SEE the BIGGER PICTURE!!!

Because everything in this world WILL END. The ONLY thing we can take with us when it's our time is our soul (spirit). So, is your soul going to just end with the fleshly desires you lived for in this world, or will it live on in eternity with our Father and Savior?!"

Embracing the Spiritual Path

Choosing the spiritual path is not just about avoiding distractions. It's about embracing a life filled with purpose and meaning! When we focus on our spiritual journey, we find joy and fulfillment that worldly desires can never provide.

Imagine waking up every day knowing that your life has a greater purpose! You’re not just living for today; you’re living for eternity!

The Importance of Community

As we navigate this journey, it’s vital to have a supportive community around us. Sharing our experiences and testimonies can inspire others to seek the spiritual path. When we come together, we strengthen each other’s faith and encourage one another to stay on track.

Let’s create a space where we can share our struggles and victories! Together, we can uplift each other and grow in our faith.

In conclusion, let’s remember that life is a precious gift! We have the opportunity to choose the path we want to take. The spiritual path leads to eternal life, while the worldly path leads to emptiness.

So, I challenge you: Seek Jesus! Allow Him to guide you on this journey. Embrace the purpose He has for your life!

Let’s not waste another moment living for fleeting desires. Instead, let’s invest in our souls and build a life that honors God!
