Let's Talk Sin, Law, and Salvation....

The Lord keeps bringing this topic to me, so let's get into it!

But before we do, I just want to say...I AM NOT Here to Condemn Anyone. Nor am I here claiming I know more than the next. I'm still a work in progress and will forever be learning.

I'm just here to shine light on an area that God just Revealed to me through His WORD and guidance. I already know there are still going to be some that will come against whatever I say, but this message is truly for Those that have ears to hear. I know they will hear and understand where I am coming from

God has opened my eyes to see multiple situations on this topic and let's just say...there are some throwing His Grace around kindly but very vague and blindly and there are some that get all fired up and mad because they are tired of "Christian's" condemning people for their Sin because (in their words) "we are ALL given Grace. That's why Jesus died on the Cross".

I Get it!!!! It can be so frustrating when we feel people are being Hypocrites and always condemning others.

(But categorizing all Christians/Christ Followers is Not right cause not all do that! I digress...)

Scripture does tell us we should NOT be condemning Anyone for their sins.

We are ALL Sinners, who are in Need of God's Grace...

Any way you look at it Sin is Sin. ALL Sin is Equal in God's eyes, and we are ALL going to unintentionally fall short.... So, we Should Not Condemn anyone for their sin.

(SO again....I Completely get where they are coming from)

But let me break down a few things that God Opened my eyes to...

1. We Need to be Slow to speak and be Very Careful with our words because we are Human and when we react in Fleshly emotions, we Can lead people away from Him. So, we should be Waiting on Him to lead our way...which in turn can help lead theirs!

   
   
   
   

2. We don't know other people's true hearts and desires. So, we don't know if this visible "sin" we are seeing is something this person is sincerely struggling with and if they are addressing Him to try and help with it or not.
   

3. We can Not change anyone......ONLY HE Can Convict and Help them turn from their ways.

🗝️The thing we need to remember is to LOVE them where they are and direct them to HIS WORD!!

Which is what Galatians 6:1 tells us.....

If someone is overtaken in wrongdoing; we who are spiritual should restore such a person with a gentle spirit!

(This is Guidance on How we handle someone)

Because when someone reacts in Fleshly Emotions preaching "It just irks me to no end how 'Christian's' condemn people for their sin. We are given Grace....that's why Jesus went to the cross. I just can't stand them"; they are now doing the VERY SAME thing they are preaching they can't stand. They are preaching out of straight up anger...which leads people wrong!

They are now condemning and being a hypocrite. Which is what they say they can't stand!

Make sense??

So, it's important to be slow to speak and not to get caught up in your Fleshly Emotions!

Now let's move on to this Sin, Law, Salvation, Grace thing everyone always wants to fight over, and I'm just going to give you all my breakdown over the Scripture that the Lord laid out for me, but I will Follow it up with Scripture you all can go back and read...

Because I encourage you to go back and Read Everything for yourself and gather your own understanding from Holy Spirit on it!

So...

Let's start out with Law and Sin...

Humans are bound to Law, and it's not until Death that we are Free from Law. The law was actually Meant to Bring Life. The law is NOT sin. It was brought to Expose Sin! Sin lives within us and will always be a Battle for us. (All of this can be found in Romans Ch. 7)

Romans 8: 1-2 "Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus (in SPIRIT) because the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death."

Genesis 4:7 ..The Lord Tells Cain Sin is crouching at your door, and its DESIRE is for you, but YOU must Rule Over it!

In Joshua 7 verses 10-13....The Lord is telling Joshua Israel has Sinned because someone is holding on to something of the World that was set apart for destruction. So, now they are set apart for destruction as well, and they Lord can NOT be with them until they get rid of it.

Galatians 5:13-14 Tells us we were called to be Free, but do NOT use this freedom as an opportunity for the FLESH

Galatians 5:16-18 Tells us to Walk by Spirit...and ends in saying.....if you are led by the Spirit you are NOT under the Law.

Galatians 5:19-21 tells us all the works of the Flesh (sin) and how they will Not inherit the Kingdom of God

Galatians 5:24 Now Those who belong to Christ Jesus Have Crucified the Flesh with its passions and desires. 

Colossians Chapter 2 and 3 are also really good and talk about dying to our flesh and rising again in Christ (Spirit)

It also goes on to say in...

Colossians 2:20 If you died with Christ to the elements of the World, why do you still live as though you still belong to the world? Why do you submit to the regulations?

Meaning:

Why Are you still thinking of the things of the WORLD?!?! (Why Haven't you died to your flesh yet?!?!)

Then in...

 Colossians 3: 1-2 it says IF YOU'VE (key words) been raised with Christ, seek the things ABOVE, where Christ is seated at the Right Hand of God. SET YOUR MINDS on things ABOVE, NOT on Earthly things!

Lastly...

 Colossians 3:5-11 gives us the list of earthly nature again: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, worldly desires, and greed, which is idolatry....and tells us to Put it to DEATH because God's wrath is coming to the disobedient.

It goes on to say since you have PUT OFF the Old self with its practices and PUT ON the New self. You are being RENEWED in knowledge according to the image of your creator. (SPIRIT) ~ Colossians 3:10

All of this breaks down to ...We Need to Die to ourselves in order to be Free from the Law....and Rise again in the Spirit because it's THROUGH Christ (SPIRIT) that we are actually Saved and Free from the Law!

Even after we die to our flesh and Rise again in Spirit we are STILL going to wrestle back and forth with our Flesh/sin, but we Have to Continue to put the desires of our Flesh to Death!

THEN...

Salvation IS indeed for EVERYONE.......BUT we are Instructed to DENY GODLESSNESS and WORLDLY DESIRES....AND ARE Instructed to LIVE in a Sensible, Righteous, and GODLY Way!!! ~ Titus 2: 11

It is our SPIRIT that Receives Salvation and Grace....and YES, it is a Free Gift we do NOT have to work for, but you MUST Die to your Flesh!

It literally says so ALL Throughout the OLD and New Testament

Then Please please please just go read Titus 3!!

Its all so good!

A basic rundown is we need to Remember we were Once Foolish, disobedient, deceived, and enslaved to the worldly things too... BUT GOD!!

He saved us! & it wasn't by our works, but it was according to His Mercy - Through the washing of regeneration and renewal by the Holy Spirit!! ~Titus 3:5

🗝️Guiding them to HIM and His Word is Key!

As much as we don't want to We Still must let people know that we Must die to our Fleshly desires to and rise again in the Heavenly ones in order to be set Free, and Receive our Free gift of Salvation!!

We are NOT called to condemn and try to change people....we are called to share our Faith and lead people to Christ and He will do the rest!!

Mathew 6:33 But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and ALL these things will be given to you as well.

Quit JUSTIFYING Sin and Confess it!! We should be Taking Sin Serious....Its Offensive to Him!
